The Man Behind : Naki
Dawhoi Dhar is the founder of NAKI, a Meghalaya-based wellness brand bringing the authentic wellness traditions and natural products of Northeast India to the world. Born in Wahiajer village, West Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya, Dawhoi started NAKI in 2022 with a vision to break stereotypes about Northeast India and create global recognition for the region through wellness, culture, and entrepreneurship.
From trading local spices to building a fast-growing wellness brand, his journey is rooted in sustainability, indigenous knowledge, and empowering local communities. Today, NAKI Wellness focuses on nutraceuticals, Lakadong turmeric products, natural wellness solutions, and Northeast India wellness experiences.
